The Long Way Down

High on a plateau, the rain is coming down

Trickles embark on a journey to the lower elevations

Desolate soil, barely able

to remember hydration

Rescued

Once a trickle, now a stream

It reaches the creeks, forges floods, revitalizes rivers

Infinitesimally eroding the canyons

Witnessed

The raindrops eventually found a place

Where my definitions couldn't follow

Conclusions, labels, beliefs, principles

Futile

So I wish only for just one more

Million days

To try to master Love over Fear

Here in waters Monastery

Xoxo, Ashes
