Welcome

A warm hello to you.
I’m Ashley - a storyteller, humanist, and fierce lover of the natural world: rooted deeply here in the orange sand and border lands of Southern Utah and Northern Arizona.
Having previously spent my lifetime battling doubt and imposter syndrome over the way in which my wild heart - drunk on ambition - recklessly pursues every whim of a hobby that kindles my interest...
I’ve now created this website as part of a greater shift I’m experiencing in my early 30s that has me beginning to believe that I can, in fact, do all of the things my heart hallucinates; and do them with dedication and intention. I'm just now accepting that I don’t actually have to narrow anything down, or hold elimination rounds, or try (and fail) to reign in my impulse to say Yes to the wondrous opportunities that the Flow places in my path.
I am guided by a belief that I have only one life to live on this absurdly beautiful planet, and that it is sacred. I wish to conduct myself as a lifelong learner, using the time that I've been given to fervently engage in all the beauty the world offers me.
Many lights have captivated my heart so far in my Earth Walk. By sharing them here on my site, I seek to only further their power in my life.

I won't be stopping there. Learning a new language is calling to me- as is calligraphy, watercolor painting, earthen home building... many more.
If I could identify a single thread that carries through it all, it is this: stories. In hosting travelers, I hear stories of the World. In officiating weddings, I discover love stories. In facilitating memorials, a final chapter is written. So whether it's music, graphic design, astrology, even Real Estate... story is the piece that pulls me in again, and again, and again.
The allure in story, of course- the Human Spirit. I feel that every human is a masterpiece: an ever-moving kaleidoscope of light, color, and shadow.
I hope that you'll tell me your story.
